Gathering & Trading


Gathering and trading work on resources taken from the following list – Chemicals, metals, computers, rare items, illegal items

A character may spend any number of days in downtime gathering resources as they choose, and may nominate a resource which they would prefer to be collecting. During the downtime process a multiplier will be applied modelling how common resources are in general. Players will receive resources according to how many days spent gathering, and the multiplier.


Trading works exactly like gathering except firstly, one must have at least Trade level 1 (the effect “Buy & Sell”) to do it, secondly the modifier is higher, and can be boosted higher with certain trading effects. Note that although illegal items can be gathered without system penalty, they cannot be traded without the relevant skill (“Black Marketeer.”)

Trading effect bonuses are cumulative.
